Stop worrying about what other artists are doing. Stop comparing yourself to them. Make things you are proud of. Make things you enjoy. Don't make things because other people want you to make them. Ignore people who don't like your art and find people who like it. That's all it takes.

After talking to some friends, I just want to be 100% clear. I don't condemn the greater Shelter community and 99% of staff/overflow/helpers. There are a lot of good people and extremely talented artists there. The people I wanted gone are now gone. I wish the best for the people sticking around.

I've witnessed a coordinated cover up of SA from Shelter involved people for 3 years. I obviously don't blame all staff or others trying to see the best in people. There are still more people who remain silent about their abuse. It isn't my place to tell their story.
