Yeah! They're clearly related-but-different, but also in this way where when people talk about Jubensha they're always like "Americans could never understand what this is!!", they explain it, and I'm like "oh you mean like those boxed murder mystery larps?"

Anyway long story short,

Played some Ghost Court last weekend with my 9 and 10 year old nieces, and what I learned is that kids love playing pretend almost as much as they love gavels and wielding authority.

My game on One Shot! What a dream, One Shot was the first AP show I ever enjoyed, and this group was all killer.

Happy to report that I didn't cut the talking toilet and now have a dungeon I'm excited to playtest (sadly it's mostly much less dumb than this screenshot)

I've done a bunch of these with 4-7 people with folks coming in from out of town, and the only reason I'm not doing an annual bigger one is the housing / venue pinch.

What do you do for housing? Is the answer just "we keep it local so everyone goes home at night" / is that the reason you stay all local?
