Have decided that this year’s birthday read is going to be all* of Kirby’s 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY *not including the Treasury which I don’t have

Never read it, don’t particularly care to watch the movie. So, no take, I guess

every so often I try a Teal Album cover and it’s always baffling. “Stand by Me” is funny because the chorus has guitars + drums heavy enough to remind you that this is Weezer but the rest sounds like a band led by a history teacher considered “cool” in the teachers’ lounge but not among the students

Probably pedantic, but from a linguistic perspective I really dislike the phrase “physical media” when used in the casual sense (e.g. “check out my physical media haul”) because it feeds off of the (increasingly common) notion that private ownership/consumption is the same as Archival Preservation
