I do think there is definitely something to the idea that even on sites with our government names attached, online interaction from behind a screen has us projecting avatars onto people that don’t always align with the reality.

The other day I put into a checker a paragraph from a document that is a decade old at this point, and it said that 2/3 of that paragraph was AI generated. The detection tools are garbage.
