The monkshood looks like it has glandular indumentum which A. variegatum does not have, so likely to be the much rarer Aconitum lasiocarpum

Ah yes, my mistake, i believe the first photo is H. promontoriale and this is H. maculoides...confusing my field notes!!

Well, let's say 'northern'...they are a real genetic mix in Liverpool Bay area...some land more on one side to the other, but in reality, I think none of them would test genetically 'pure' for either

Yep, lots of blackcaps and the GW were grounded after a prolonged shower. I'm surprised the PF hung about for a 2nd day...but who knows 👍
