not enough people are talking about how important and impactful the imagery of a frozen yggdrasil is, like that's not some cutely shaped crystal that's THE tree in there

interestingly this yggdrasil has six branches and not nine, which matches up with the number of zones (realm ships, the equivalent to norse realms) in an expac. maybe it allows the ships to fly in the first place? you can actually see crystaline frost on the bottom of naglfar
