Seems to me that the Mayor asked the police chief to resign, the police chief refused, so now the Mayor's office had to begin the process for what it takes to fire the chief. Apologies to the microwave tiktok generation and city council that it may take one business day to do that.

Wild that it was more important for Dan Strauss, Dionne Foster and Joy Hollingsworth to oppose the Mayor then feed children. They demanded conservative means testing, but the program is already means tested because it only applies to public schools.
Guy OronNEW: Seattle politicians are no longer bickering over the kids' lunch money. After a contentious week, the mayor and city council have agreed on a plan to fund both universal free school meals and targeted food assistance, without delay. I am kind of confused why Graham Platner was such a popular choice even before the scandals someone with that blue collar/pro union back ground with an actual track record in elected office, so presumably has been vetted. Anyway hope he wins!
NPRBreaking News: Democrats are hoping to move past Graham Platner's scandal-plagued campaign as they look to unseat Susan Collins. In Jackson, they chose a nominee with a similar economic populist message as Platner.
As a member of the 43rd ld, it is genuinely not that wild.
jesse, 37The stranger being more conservative than the 43rd LD Democrats is *wild*
I knew Spain was good, but that was such a good performance from back to front by Spain and I was not expecting that against a team with the quality of France.
Herculez GomezMany, myself included, thought France would have their way with the Spanish national team. Spain just dogwalked the French. They completely dominated them with the ball. MOTM Rodri, with Dani Olmo a close second #Spain Good luck, 🇦🇷 🏴
