At the DSA National Summit and not gonna lie, the caucus system I'm sure has its merits, but it feels like Greek life in college. Everyone's throwing around letters, and as an uncaucused GDI I keep having to explain I don't understand their turf war.

This fall, the future of Colorado won't be Phil Weiser vs Victor Marx. That's already decided. (Phil by +20pts) It's really Michael Fields vs Chris Kennedy as their orgs dual over the future of tax policy. The ballot questions in November are the real progressive fight.

Sarah Parady was an excellent City Councilwoman, a member of Denver DSA and a staunch supporter of progressive policies. She leaves large shoes to fill. It's imperative that Parady's seat this November goes to a member of the Left.

Honestly, what do moderate campaigns even DO with all these millions?! If Abdul El-Sayed had $60M against Haley Stevens, or even just equal resources, he'd be up by 30 points. If you gave me $60M in Colorado, I'd overturn TABOR and have a socialist majority in the leg.

Listen, online polls are inaccurate, but it's hilarious that Abdul El-Sayed is sitting at 96% for who Fox 2 Detroit viewers think won tonight's debate.

When Abdul El-Sayed & Francesca Hong win in Michigan & Wisconsin, the base will rejoice & the donor class will panic. The question is: will the Democratic establishment choose to win by building a more populist party? Or will they choose division to keep their donors happy?
