for those not in the know, i'll mention that the japanese text for morestar (モーレスター) is translated as "molester" by google translate but this wasnt intentional lol. the origin of the name is morning rescue (mōresu) + pop star (the kirby 64 song used in the background of every morestar series video)

the last problem i have with it is that now that creators cant easily find out how many dislikes they have on a video, they won’t know as easily if their video sucks. being able to see how many dislikes you have is important to your improvement as a creator. is it rly worth it just to copy tiktok?

plus it will fuck with the algorithm. even if you cant view how many there are, removing the OPTION to leave a dislike means youtube has no way of knowing you dont want more like that if you watched the whole thing.

thats a fair perspective to have honestly. cuz i will admit it on bsky it feels less like i have to put out content for the algo and more like i can just fuck around and do whatever i want. theres way less pressure to act a certain way on bsky compared to twitter

i’ve been trying to do that yeah. i was ahead of the curve in making my bsky account and i constantly tried to seek out every ytpmv/otomad person who had a bsky account. ive always made sure to retweet their stuff but at the same time people just abandoned their accounts. i’ll keep trying though

It is technically a slur so i'm not upset that it got flagged or anything (especially since some people dont wanna see that) but i do think it's one of the dumbest sounding slurs in existence, when people use this word legitimately i kinda have to question their intelligence
