Quelle surprise Letch-ray specs once again being used for perving and insulting PoC, the elderly and CalMac staff for clicks. "In one video, [he] makes sexualised comments about the appearance of two teenagers who he spots as he drives onto a small CalMac ferry."

Farmers, 2016, voting for Nigel: "He's got our interests at heart" Farmers 2020: Literally having to salt the earth to mitigate the effects of something he tells people he doesn't believe exists for his personal gain
deadmanrunning1June. July.
Growing up in Hertfordshire in the 70s I remember it was a regular thing for farmers to stubble-burn their fields, clouds of smoke visible for miles. Can't imagine a farmer now looking at the freshly harvested ground and thinking "what this desiccated earth really needs is a match"...

Snap on the A696 up here, complete with flowers on the cycle lane sign
Alex NurseA few weeks ago I was travelling down south and I came across this "beauty" on the A14. A bog standard inter-urban dual carriageway and then, from literally nowhere, oh is that meant to be a cycle lane? You could not pay me enough money to use that.
Only one cup is steaming. The cups are similar, but not identical cos the scaling is wrong. Both fire and steam are rising swirling gently but there's enough wind to make the branches sway quite a bit, the tent canvas flap and the high altitude clouds are visibly moving in a 6 second clip.

Port of Tyne saying "ooh, look, we've done the easy bit" by hovering up the stuff that was still in the containers is getting positive coverage, but missing the fact that the stuff left in the containers was very much *not the fucking issue here*
Alison StenningDamaged containers cleared of nurdles, but meanwhile a billion of them are washing up the Tyne, onto our beaches and into the sea. This is perhaps one of the biggest plastic pollution events in the UK. And yet there’s almost no national coverage.
Unless the LLM you're chatting to is running on the physical hardware sat next to you* then err on the assumption that everything it gets access to that belongs to you is now on the internet. *Even then it's worth using caution.
Joseph CoxTons of peoples' Claude chats are exposed on Google. Cryptocurrency keys, API keys, login credentials, legal discussions, more. This happened with ChatGPT last year. And Claude too. There's clearly an ongoing issue with search engines indexing peoples' AI chats www.404media.co/tons-of-peop...
Coming in to land at Canaima airstrip, Venezuela. Looking out the window had just thought "we're very close to the ground" when the pilot hauls the stick back, we hurtle sharply skywards, bank, then comes the "whhhhrrr....clunk" of... the undercarriage being lowered... 1/
fesshole 🧻Hundred feet from landing and something happened that required an emergency abort. Engines roaring, crazy steep banking, whole plane shuddering. When this happens in films or on TV everyone is screaming. Absolute bollocks. We were all completely silent and shitting ourselves.
I'm not sure suggesting vaccines in lettuce is going to play well with the US at the moment...
