I'll always love what I do, and no amount of work is gonna change that really. That being said, I need to re-evaluate aspects of my work ethic so I can be more efficient with what I do. I find that I've been very inconsistent with that over the past couple years. We'll see.

The treatment of this game post-launch has been incredibly disappointing. We had such a promising start with a communicative social media/dev team that made great QOL patches for the game's early life and it all just completely dissolved over time. I don't know what else to say.

I'm mad about this not only because of the lack of communication from the SMB Twitter, but because Crewmate is actually an integral character to the speedrunning scene for this game. Players who didn't get him Year 1 are now completely locked out from getting them.

I honestly think Boost as a stat class in of itself is a last minute addition, like all of the Riders-related content in the game. The Rogues were the last basegame characters added, EX Gear were clearly a late-dev addition (not ready for the CNT). It all just seems like an afterthought tbh.

If there's one thing from this list I absolutely need it's more Boost characters, like SERIOUSLY this game needs more Boost characters. HOW ARE WE ENDING YEAR 1 WITH TWO BOOST CHARACTERS WHILE POWER HAS LIKE FIFTEEN

TBH I just don’t think Kit got that #motion, but I wouldn’t turn my nose at them coming as a package deal. I think it’s the right decision logistically.

Legends Retold at the very least looks like it has a budget and a competent effort at reimagining it! Based on what little I know about the original at least
