Goose used to come from the snowy forests of northern Ilsabard. But his clan had to flee west due to ongoing conflict between Garlemald and their provinces damaging their home and his people being caught in the crossfire. He now considers Gridania, where he sought refuge in, his home.

Going by how we play the game. Goose is max everything like a domestic goddess while his wife (Myst, who between us is the WoL in our cannon) only has botany and mining at just the right level to help her husband get more crystals for crafting. Nothing else just that.
