does anyone want to fund my movie idea. it's an iliad adaptation but it's actually just achilles mogging for three hours. there's an extended sequence where agamemnon leads a doomed charge and it all takes place off screen while achilles flexes in his tent. ajax appears for 2 mins on a stretcher

ok I've looped back around to enjoying odyssey discourse bc I just saw a very funny sirens skit from a lady and all the comments were arguing w each other about what the sirens "canonically" sing about. this is so much better than six seven

i could see the outline of a more interesting story: helen exists (in the movie) to point out that agamemnon and menelaus caused all this bloodshed bc they were greedy. so maybe she called out to the greek soldiers in the horse bc she wanted to stop this. but the movie skipped that moment completely

if you hear "haha this is going to be so funny. hold my beer" that's your cue to drop the beer and sprint back to the boats

I think it's really funny that a lot of modern odyssey aus and adaptations make odysseus the responsible designated driver. I wouldn't designate him to drive me home in a golf cart. my ass is not getting home

ok yeah I also liked inception and memento. & liked this one also. if you like his style I'd give it a try but don't expect anything even a little gay :(
