A grand jury declined to indict the guy that threw a ham sandwich at someone (ICE, DHS, can’t remember). The sandwich wasn’t brought before the GJ but probably only because it didn’t survive the incident.

True but the prosecutor was completely inexperienced, had never prosecuted a case before, and Alexandria, Arlington County, and Fairfax County tend to be more blue and aware of politics. In the current environment, it is a tad off that these indictments were handed down.

An ignorant question, is there any way to check how the grand jury was selected? I expect names are not available, but did it really follow the normal process? other grand juries have declined some of the dumber indictments. What happened here.
