The research misconduct scandal at Oslo University Hospital that we've been warning about for nearly two years is a symptom of years of impunity, the pathologization of an already vulnerable community, and a lack of accountability. Please, Minister, help us. The solution is very simple. Thank you.

Happy news today: I’ve been promoted to full professor! 🥰 So grateful to my colleagues, students, PhD students and my friends, and most of all to my wonderful princes, who care for me and feed me when work gets intense ❤️ And to my adorable children, who bring me joy every day ❤️

Our letter of concern about the Finnish study is now published in Acta Paediatrica. The Finnish study has received a total of 5 letters/commentaries, so far. Most of the overlapping concerns are statistical/methodological. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...

Our letter of concern to Acta Paediatrica on the recent Finnish registry study has been accepted and will be published soon. We raise concerns about the statistical approach, but perhaps more importantly, about how the study’s findings have been communicated.

Lenge leve bekymringsbrevene!

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a note on the Finnish registry study on transgender people. Using fairly basic statistics, one can show that some of the variable choices are problematic. At the end, I also give a few examples of what the study can be said to show. davidrbanos.wordpress.com/blog/
