Of course you’re right. I was being provocative. But the longer we delay the pain from the former course of action, the more we increase the pain from the latter inevitable consequence. Pain now (ish) or (more) pain later.

We’re probably near to the point where it’s cheaper to stop using all fossil fuels tomorrow, than to continue using them and pay for the consequences. And that’s just the financial costs.
