Same here. I ended up getting a double blu ray case and putting the DVD in alongside the BD in case I wanted to watch extras or listen to a commentary.

They got back last night and I'll not see them until tomorrow. I've not forgotten! 😀

I was mutuals with the guy who played Herbie when I was on Twitter and he told me to expect a release at some stage. There were a lot of problems securing rights etc.

The way that it was shot, 4k might not have made a lot of difference but it would have been nice to have all the same. Very excited for this, especially as the original Blu Ray release was so shoddy compared to the DVD. The finest British film of the 21st century. 😉

Oh for sure. It's so much cheaper than others I've seen that it could be either be a bargain or a toy. Reviews seem fine if your lawn is flat but we'll not know until it's working.
