Day two of Operation Redecorate Teenage Bedroom. Tip run, two trips to Screwfix (oops), wallpaper steamer retrieved from loft, wallpaper off, about a hundred holes filled, walls sanded, ceiling painted (two coats of white). Followed by a relaxing float in the pool while our takeaway comes.

I've just watered my garden, as I've done for every single day in July. It's my nightly escape, wandering around in silence with only my thoughts. My water butt is long since empty and I'm increasingly worried about the lack of rain - it's been well over a month now. Might do a rain dance tomorrow!
