My first encounter with Heath «journalism» was a Spectator article about L’imprimerie Nationale in 2006. He managed to construct a totally false view of Paris. Pretty astounding for some one who clams to be bi-lingual and was living there at the time. He wasn’t at all normal, even 20 years ago.
HKCannot emphasise enough that a decade ago he was a normal guy. I went to interview for him once when he was editing city am, and if anything he was just kind of dull. Now whenever I see his face he’s screeching about the apocalypse or welcoming the death cult
