FYI there is no "real" reason why Rome "fell." Its power waned for the usual, mundane reasons: widening gap between rich and poor, inability to maintain infrastructure, incompetent leadership, pointless wars, endless persecution of marginalized groups who performed vital labor, etc.

My 401k is almost exactly the same today as it was in February just before the war in Iran. Factoring in the money I’ve invested since then I’ve lost money. 📉 Rolling 12 months DJIA is up 15% not bad right? Meanwhile the Nikkei is up 66% but, I bet all the insiders like Trump, their portfolio is📈

I was in italy for the first time earlier this month. I would like to go back and spend a lot of time there. My health issues literally disappeared while I was there. Real food, lots of walking seem to be a good recipe for health, especially when you're surrounded by beautiful vistas everywhere.

I just re read the final chapter of this book; it is so f—king good. It says everything about this mo all the ment. It is why DSA, Free Palestine, anti Centrists are growing. Bc the status quo centrist Dem position is now genocide. & even former centrists like me see that’s morally indefensible.

I just found out VW have engine power in their EV’s locked behind a subscription and I feel like I’m going crazy. The power is already there in an engine you paid for, just have it available??? 🙃 We need to do something to reign in this kind of business model because it’s getting beyond a joke.
