Don't disagree on that part. I do believe much of that conflict was coordinated to have the exact effect on Democratic voters it ended up having. Smh...

I'm not talking about resume strong. I'm talking about a demeanor and appearance of fighting for smth...a case many Democratic candidates struggle with. I don't mean ranting and raving like a lunatic. But a steadying presence and a force of will in their beliefs.

2/Harris lost and Democrats underperform in general bc; the party is rudderless, lacking any leadership to speak of and consistently fail to win the public debate on even the lowest hanging policy fruit. That and Democrats let stand the absurd notion of Trump's first term greatness (to this day).

1/Harris wasn't a very strong candidate but any candidate should hv been able to prevail over a failed former president running on fascism and inflationary tariffs in the middle of an 'inflation crisis' and a contrived border issue..who was also a felon, rapist and led an attack on the US Capitol.

All rigid thinkers fall into some category of self-righteousness and as such struggle w empathy (not sympathy) IMO.

I simply can't understand the political calculus that can't reconcile a no vote on smth you like less being a necessary yes vote for smth you "hate" more.

It's worse than that...sadly, foreigners and their g'ments are far more shrewd on US politics than the avg American. I don't know what some ppl thought was happening when Bibi's racheting up of atrocities always tended to coincide with more leftists abandoning Harris.

Actually, that's good enough for the right as their goals for power have always been a suppression of the opposition electorate. I simply believe there are those who are business as usual and don't realize how great a threat we (US citizens) face.

Personally, I don't want to have to live someplace else bc a far right, fascist movement has taken over the US and corrupted the country into a one party autocracy where my practical choices are MAGA vs Ultra MAGA candidates. This is a real possibility. I don't think some ppl grasp this reality.

How do we know since Democrats never do it? This has been their problem IMO... with the tragic history of failed conservative leadership in this country..it is political malpractice to fail at itemizing their (many) failures then making it the centerpiece of the DNC campaign.
