Birds definitely notice human gender signifiers like hairstyles, clothing, and vocal timbre. Why they are more afraid of women is a mystery to me, though. Maybe it's the heeled shoes?

This was pretty easy, by the way! I just washed her hair in warm water with hand lotion (conditioner is also fine) and then separated the hair by color and wrapped it around straws. Gave it a little blow dry and let it sit for a couple hours. Good as new.
