We had a heat power cut yesterday afternoon, and there are warnings there could be more. Sleep is limited to about 5 hours a night. My dog and cat are barely functioning, and the missus and I are the same. If this is the new normal, serious changes to life in the UK need to happen.

So, looking at the weather forecast and we're gonna be at 30+ for another damnes WEEK; how are we supposed to do this? Been struggling through, but another week of this, but with temps in my house still at 30 at 10pm, I have genuine concerns for our health. And electronics. #Heatwave2026
