It's a live service. If you didn't want silly advertisements about your car, you wouldn't buy a car that has silly advertisements and live services in it.

Are you sure? Because it seems like alot of people don't know what is an isn't an AI-enabled function. They only seem to notice when it's bad.

What airline is that? It looks so... dystopian.

000

People do like it. They like that they can find things in images by name; that they can select objects without painstakingly using the loop tool; that they can translate and voice-to-text and text-to-voice much more easily. Does a bunch suck? Yes. Cheap implementations always suck, AI or no.

What do billionaires have to do with a mission that was purchased by government space programs? This isn't Mars and the Moon gets hit with hundreds of times more tons of debris every day. It rarely gets hit by a Falcon 9 upper stage, most of those hit atmosphere on target.

000

You don't have to talk to me, but geez, circular argument is circular.

000

...By actually listening to NASA spokespeople, reading reports, plans, etc? The space shuttle was referred to as a 'space truck'. The point of using SpaceX and others is that they could just 'purchase cargo space, like they would hire a truck on Earth'.

000

What scientific data? The moon gets pummeled by up to 1100 tons of stuff from the rest of the solar system every day.

100

In that you've never heard an analogy that NASA has been using for forty years? You seem to know alot of big words but then use them incorrectly.

Look buddy you used the words 'reckless' and 'pollute' and 'irresponsible' and refuse to actually list any actual actions which indicate any of those conditions. I can totally point to *different* things that actually are irresponsible, too, but that's a fallacious argument and I don't do those.

100

In what way is a contracted delivery vehicle not a truck? Why is the propulsion system relevant to it being a truck or not?

100

Also, 'pollute'? Pollute it with what? It's an empty rocket that's been safed. After it missed the burn to the Earth, it would have vented the rest of the onboard gasses.

200

...You think the Moon is a pristine nature reserve?

200

It wasn't supposed to land; it was supposed to crash. Just into the Earth instead of the Moon.

000

Having a truck break down and crash and not hurt anyone is 'wildly irresponsible'?

100

Well, because if you Google something use DuckDuckGo, use any current grammar checking or system spellchecking ... you're using LLMs. The amount of bad AI out there is insane, though. Especially when there's better, limited uses. And older tools that did grammar aware better in some cases.

That date is wrong. While they've backdated some cases to 2019, it was still only the fall and winter. Did you mean the spring of 2020? It hit the SF Bay Area in December 2019-January 2020.

I don't think anything else good can happen without it. The current court with its no-ethics, shadow-docket, major question doctrine, and repeated wholesale changing of textual law to be heads Republicans win tails Democrats lose, has got to be overhauled.

000

You're going to have to not play alot more things than that to avoid Saudi investment.

Fries are delicious, more shelf stable, and a good source of fiber that doesn't exist in the main meal. They shouldn't be dry, tho. x-x
