Sunny had to have his bad eye removed yesterday but he's back home for #Caturday. Our youngest wondered if he'd get a glass eye--alas, no--but he's doing well with his one good eye and everyone who meets him just loves him 🐾 🥹

Early #Caturday post to celebrate the incredible will of tiny Dr. Sunkist Pepper, who gained half a pound this week! He is well enough to play a bit now but he tires quickly. Still on a lot of meds and he is blind in one eye, but the other one is better. He is such a good and precious boy 🐾 🥹

Seriously, a nice private co-op kicked our daughter out within a few months, and her district school violated her rights, knowing full well that she should have been covered by ADA protections. We didn't choose to homeschool. We were FORCED to homeschool.

We gave both public and private schools a shot with our autistic and dyslexic child. All she learned in those years was that she was "a bad kid." Within a few months at home, she'd learned to read. Still, many families are ill-equipped to homeschool, and public schools desperately need fixing.

35. It sucks that misogyny - specifically contempt for middle aged moms - made minivans cringe and embarrassing. They are both safer than most SUVs AND more practical for most of the tasks that non-outdoorsy SUV owners claim to “need” SUVs for.

I have ALWAYS worked for health insurance rather than money because my dear hubs is a lifelong diabetic who has always been forced to work for small firms with bad insurance options due to the limitations of his specialized field (even though his wages always eclipsed mine). A crime, if you ask me
