Young brains are at their most vulnerable at school. An adult in charge should be protecting them at all costs. Some kids go to school to get away from violence. Where are they gonna go when that safe space disappears. They want us to go back to a Dickensian time. Just appalling isn't it 😔

Exactly. Their brains are emotional & reactive. They need support, help in how to deal with big feelings. You start shoving them about they're soon gonna learn that violence is how we deal with anything difficult. That way danger lays 😔

You and your colleagues are the experts in this area. I have no idea why Henry thinks he has any semblance of what happens in schools. ACT are the party of wild contradictions. Hates big govt but cannot help themselves in micro-managing communities, ideas, art, poetry...
