I get and understand the arguments against horns on helmets. But this is fantasy and the rule of cool overrules! I am sorry, but horns on helmets just look bad ass on the right people (Arnold being one of them).

Hope I can make this fit your point. As someone who game designs as a hobby I actually learn a lot from a positive but well reasoned review of a game I don't like. I would have never understood some mechanic or even the feeling the game gives to certain people. You can steal perspectives too!

That is the problem. I could put in ear plugs to help with the painful noise, but then I couldn't hear what was being said. So yeah, with his movies I just wait until it streams and I can adjust it for home. I have one of those sound bars for old people that makes dialogue stand out.

Yeah, he says it makes the movies "feel" more impactful. My problem is that feeling is a sharp stab in the ears. *LOUD NOISE* ~quiet dialogue~ *LOUD NOISE* It would be like navigating a dimly lit maze and every so often someone flashes a bright LED lamp into your eyes.

How about: I hate Nolan's sound mixing and I will wait until it streams to watch it, so I can adjust it. For someone with hearing issues, his movies are painful to watch in theaters and he will never fix that.

Koreatown is dense with apartments. So a lot of people move in and out all the time. That means a lot of abandoned furniture and appliances. This isn't just a cosmetic thing, it's a safety issue. My wife and I have had to navigate into the curb to get around dumped garbage a few times.

Oh! It's even in the name of the text. I flipped LOTR with the Hobbit in my head. The makers I mean. LOTR was the one with the live-action scenes. But yeah, I imaged searched it and it was better looking later.

Am I allowed to be conflicted on the art? On the one hand I appreciate different art styles, and want a world with differing art styles, and I even appreciate Ralph Bakshi's work. On the other hand Bilbo looks like my Czech-Bohemian great-grandmother if she picked up pipe smoking.

I would love to buy one of the big desk mechanical calculators. Just so that when I get stuck on a project, I can have it divide by zero and watch it spin forever. Remind myself the futility of my work. But I have to tell myself that I live in a 1920's urban apartment and have no storage.

I would watch the shit out of Gumbyfellas. Pokey is the Pesci character and in the scene where he gets offed, they take him to a glue factory.

I can only speak for myself: I often wonder if the constant scams, scare-posts, and general slop of bad-faith arguments jades people into defaulting into taking others in bad-faith? I have to check myself constantly. And when I had people argue against me here, they took me in bad faith.

Koreatown is lousy with abandoned couches, mattresses, and bulky furniture. We could give Berlin a run for their money. We have a lot of apartments here. People constantly move in and out. So you get a lot of abandoned furniture. At times it gets so bad you get a little hoarder path to navigate.
