I'm usually a bit skeptical of how effective it is to say "this digital title might get a print release if people show up for it.", but that's because elvish manga readers don't tend to buy digital volumes. But Omoi is a cheap subscription, so I hope that gets more people to check this out.

Amazing how hard Windows 11 fights me when I try to highlight text. Either selecting extra stuff I do not want or randomly erasing my selection. When I highlight sleeving and start typing, I expect it to ease the selection, not add my new text next to it. Basic functionality breaking.

I love being able to help a parent and child pick out manga. Helped a dad and young daughter pick out Hikaru in the Light today after the dad thought Oshi no Ko sounded a bit too mature for a young kid. Hikaru in the Light was exactly what she wanted.

A fantastic book! Even if you aren't a letterer, it offers a lot of great insight into the reasoning behind certain practices in comic lettering. Very useful for learning about how to make lettering a cohesive part of a comic. Heartily recommend it to indie comic artists especially.

Beautiful original score by Jun Fukamachi and Michel Legrand for the live action movie of Tezuka's Phoenix. Movie itself is pretty fun, not as good as the manga. The score is the big standout element.
