I keep hoarding multiple hours long youtube videos in my watch later and then wondering why I feel intimidated to actually watch anything in the list

It seems like it’d be fun to stream traditional art making but i hate drawing at a desk and i don’t wanna show up on the camera so it might be impossible haha

I got all existential and started wondering what illustration/animation art styles will evolve into and look like in 100-200 years

ok so we have a good old scanner and a bad modern…ish scanner (from like. 5 yr ago) but the bad scanner is way quicker/more convenient bc its wireless. however the bad scan makes it look old which i kind of like maybe lmao

since May i’ve been making myself use references + do mini studies for at least 1 finished drawing per week & then any silly doodles on the side i’m allowed to skip looking for refs if i want Uhm it’s been helping a lot. felt like a pain at first bc i used to only gather ref for rly big pieces, but
