I also enjoy how Lynch wrote extensively about using meditation to be creative, but stressed that you don't get ideas while meditating. You meditate to get ideas later.

I dunno the more I write this out the more it sounds like old school publisher deals.

I guess that'd probably lead to offers to promote titles in exchange for higher cuts etc. If the store doesn't benefit from sales of recent releases you'd have a cold start issue. The cost to audit all those devs would be high so probably the profit share percentage goes way up.

It's interesting to consider a model where a store uses a profit share rather than a revenue share. I suppose you'd have to fully open your books to them to agree on where break even is. The store would be massively incentivized to promote already-successsful titles vs new releases.

Anyway this is what I dreamed about when I went to sleep at 3 am and woke up at 5 am after drinking a huge cup of ice coffee at 2:30 am.

Entropy only increases. As an invariant, Mjolnir is guaranteed to collapse from all multiverses over time, leading to <Muse dubstep voice> UNSUSTAINABLE. The act of stealing Mjolnir from another timeline dooms the entire universe--actually all universes--to a fate much worse than Thanos's 50% cull.

But that means at the limit, at most one timeline can have a Mjolnir to defend itself with, and all others will invariably fall to destruction. Thor is constantly responsible for defending the universe from existential threats. Without Mjolnirs, it's just a matter of time before each universe falls.
