The healthier way of seeing yourself if you have, let's say, a speedy art style and a tendency to draw a lot of people to the point old websites accused you of being a robot and kept being told to semihide your pictures so that "you don't spam" is see yourself re-enacting the 9 billion names of God.

I'm gonna use this as a small springboard: Yes over here there was a similiar case, with anime being seen as the weird stuff, even if we also had the mediterrnean "we get all of the anime here on public and basic cable" deal. Like, Space Adventure Cobra was a childhood anime for me.
Zero UtopiaGenuinely impossible to make people understand how much most the United States in the 90s hated and looked down on anime if they didn't live through it.
