After how the last game they made and slapped the final fantasy number on turned out I don’t hold out for any positive expectations for whatever the game they slap a 17 on ends up being.
Even the people in the Central Valley don’t know. All along the highway you see tons of billboards and signs accusing Newson of dumping water into the ocean.
It was very behind its time. That was the problem. By the time RE5 released Uncharted 1 was already out & Uncharted 2 was about to come out. Trying to shoehorn RE into an action game with a partner did not work at all (not even touching on all the racist stuff in the story). RE6 did it much better.
I only got around to RE5 because of the recent remakes and tried to keep going with the other games I had skipped. It’s astounding how bad the gameplay in RE5 is and while RE6 has different quirks to its gameplay, the overall aiming, shooting and moving mechanics are so much better.
Well the sentient cowboy hat isn’t involved so it at least has a chance to be decent, and not rely entirely on intricate knowledge of characters from 25 year old bad CG cartoons.
Am I the only one that finds it funny to describe Metroid as trying to reach the “heart” of the alien world when the end of the game is literally fighting a brain?
If I remember correctly this was just using a 14” large dough ball for a 12” medium pizza (basically the opposite of the Brooklyn/New York Style) and then making sure to cook it a bit longer (with deck ovens still being the standard at the time).
Mission Impossible 2 comes to mind, after not liking the twist in the ending of the first one I was already skeptical of the second one, which ended up being absolutely terrible I never bothered watching any of the others until last year, each one after the first two are so, so, much better.
