I still occasionally look up discussions about the work I did for @dateeverything.bsky.social and I’m always overwhelmed by what I see. Knowing a character I wrote made a player feel this way is an unbelievable thing to comprehend. I’ll be happy if what I’m writing now is even half as impactful.

I’ve either tried or had an assessment for every possible treatment over the past ten years. Physio and pain management are what it all narrowed down to.

I’ve had varying amounts of back pain since I was a teenager, apparently it was always just predisposed to having things pop out of it. In 2016, I moved some boxes in my office and a few days later I could barely dress myself, the pop having become a full-on herniated disc.

Nah, all I had to go on was a half-remembered ending about a body floating up from the bottom of a lake because of gases. For all I know it might not have even been a Lovejoy episode.

I tempered my expectations since this is the UK but it’s very good. Anyway I’ve barely touched my painkillers and my sleep schedule’s almost back to being perfect. I did forget about how nostalgic it makes me though. I spent far too long looking for a specific episode of Lovejoy.
