I'm ALSO going to be looking into setting up a Shopify for myself and entirely moving off Etsy. I'll be selling some fandom merch(I have a bunch of LoL art already lined up) but wanna focusing on selling my own art as stickers and keychains. I love fish and wanna make more fish merch

Since moving up to full time I am officially apartment shopping, so I'll be extra pushing getting my art to the livable income I want alongside my other job. So, I will be being annoying which I apologize for.

I've been trying to squeeze in artfight attacks whenever I can, between two commissions. And after artfight I'm gonna be using all my 'free' time getting back into the swing with social media and properly promoting my commissions. Which are ALWAYS open right now.

Idk, it's just interesting to see how much this man missed out on the real beauty of life despite being surrounded by it.

He's absolutely someone I could have been tricked into idolizing because I wanted to be a zoologist. Still do some days. But I never would have wanted to be that cruel. Even though I can see the ways my own insecurities could have manifested like him.

It mattered less to know than to have. So he took in any way he could, taking shortcuts that destroyed the pocket of ecosytem just so he could pin it with a name and slot it into a jar on a shelf. But despite his cruelty he had the charisma to make the most believe he was a good man.

But it's got me thinking a lot because this is a man who lost the care for life. It stopped being about the beauty of living things and became an obsession simply to have. Have the most fish he's discovered, have the most sucesses attached to his name. It became about control.
