As a trans woman, I am, every day, grateful I don't suffer like billionaires suffer. No, wait, I want billionaires to suffer. That's it. I suffer plenty enough from this transphobic shitshow of a government.

I'd like to today remember the many brave film critics who, when Lethal Weapon 4 came out, proclaimed it a sitcom and that audiences should get ready for Lethal Weapon 5, because it would be coming. Spoiler: it didn't.

There is genuinely something gloriously honest in how batshit she is but she still talks like that one year eleven who has put too much effort into the single speech she gets to give in assembly, even when her every joke bombs.

Next thing you know, Farage will be mad that I've been saying that I hope the Standards Committee crucifies him. But I guess metaphor remains beyond the understanding of the rozzers, politicians and your average far-right knuckledragger.

I think Liz Truss was the best PM of my lifetime, simply because she seems like the only one to quickly realise how bad she was and disappear off into the night to do what she really wanted: grift and spread conspiracy theories. That's a level of honesty and duty we rarely see. (Obvs not serious.)

I'm always disappointed when I see actors I like advertising thing because Bill Hicks raised me right.

The Gordon Brown who targeted colleges for austerity and wanted to make kids sing the national anthem before school and floated ID cards as an idea again? Everyone forgets that he was increasingly hated for good reason before he lost the election.

I won't have to. Being trans, Labour/Reform/Tories will put me in a grave long before I will need it.

@andyburnham.bsky.social and his government are bigoted monsters. The most anti-LGBTQ+ government of my life, all to appeal to a phony idea of what the working class is. We'd have been better off if Sunak had won the election as at least we may have had a decent opposition.

I believe this as well and it has changed profoundly how I see various periods in history, too.

I... what? Burnham has been in power just over a week. He hasn't walked the walk at all. Most of his appointments suggest status quo. His moral failures on trans segregation alone suggest a man without a moral bone in his body. Never mind Mahmood! Or wasting cash on defence to placate Trump's donors
