Lately I’ve been exploring different mediums to use for real media pieces (colored pencils, watercolor pencils, oil pastels, etc) and testing different papers/surfaces with them. I was wondering if this is something people might be interested in seeing in video format?

While we’re at it, 2 other important art supply PSAs: 1. Alcohol markers (and most water-based markers as well) are sadly NOT very lightfast, just fyi. My copic art has held up fine over the years when not hung in direct sunlight, but something to keep in mind if you do sell your art.

Dear marker art hobbyists/younger artists, it’s time for a supply shopping PSA: You DO NOT NEED 300+ colors! I promise! I feel like a lot of people who have switched from Copic to Ohuhu at this point are actually offsetting the price savings by buying WAY MORE COLORS than anyone would EVER NEED.

The r/MCAS subreddit is one of the most depressing things I’ve read all week. So very many people suffering really debilitating serious symptoms that are destroying their lives and mostly having drs tell them it’s all in their head and just…not helping them. :(

I did an experiment recently to test a theory I had about one of the many problems with AI. I tried having AI generate some CSS to style something. It worked, eventually, after a lot of back-and-forth frustration & very silly errors (like it applying the changes to the wrong thing multiple times).

I've been making an effort to properly learn CSS lately, and just discovered Grid. THIS is what I wished CSS could do 20 years ago omg. It's magical! This is exactly how my brain plans layouts so it just clicked instantly for me.

I’ve been playing around with @obsidian.md this week and I think I have finally settled on a PKM app! I’m too picky about systems design and the level of customization options in this app are unparalleled.
