Putting aside how dumb this is for all the reasons everyone else is objecting—in the past 30 years, film hasn’t changed nearly as much as it did in the 30 years before I was born. The LOTR movies haven’t aged at all. It’s not like being a kid in the 90s watching films from the 60s (which we all did)
Zaki HasanMan, this is such a nihilistic take. Forget Lord of the Rings. My kids have watched The Wizard of Oz. The Godfather. Planet of the Apes. TONS of classics that are quite a bit older than 30 years, and they’ve enjoyed and appreciated them all.
