Came across Vance Packard's The Waste Makers today. I never realised the idea of 'planned obsolescence' was so old. And I guess we took none of his advice.

Darach Ó SéaghdhaEvery few years a social media post suggests, or invites suggestions, for the casting of a Táin adaptation. The success of that other mythological movie (and the star power of several Irish actors) has made this slightly more likely. So who should play who?
