the thing that hurts Ted Lasso the most is simply that S1 exists. if it just started out as the Sudeikis helmed creation of S2 & S3 people would mostly be like eh whatever this is a fine enough way to spend 40 minutes and treat it like a popcorn show and not a zeitgeisty discourse show.
