That’s why I joined @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social’s letter demanding DHS shut down Dilley NOW.

We must call the Dilley Family Detention Center what it really is: a prison. Children are trapped without their parents, fed moldy and worm-ridden food, forced to drink dirty water, and exposed to fatal diseases like measles. No child should have to suffer like this.

Trump's tariffs are crushing small businesses and taking money out of Americans' pockets. But instead of lowering costs, he's doubling down with another round of tariffs that will drive prices even higher.

That anyone would deface this mural, which was painted by the community in response to a previous antisemitic incident in January after the one year commemoration of the Eaton Fire, is completely unconscionable. I will always stand with PJTC and all our Jewish neighbors against hatred.

The federal minimum wage has remained at $7.25 since 2009. Since then, its value has declined by 30% as prices for basic necessities continue to rise. Today, the minimum wage is a poverty wage, with full-time workers earning less than the federal poverty line.

Rep. Mace’s racist, bigoted resolution does nothing to address or solve the real discrimination facing our communities. Its only purpose is to invoke anger and division.

An Administration that already has a track record of repeatedly trying to throw people with disabilities off their benefits should never be given free reign to conduct open-ended experiments that could reduce benefits. I voted NO.

But it does this by handing the Trump Administration broad new authority to test changes to the program, with no guardrails to protect people's earned benefits.
