Let’s face it -Trump is trying to win a war based on stand off munitions. There is an obvious and effective counter to that - don’t give up. Unless and until the US engages in direct land combat nothing will win work.

The birth rate is troubling. By comparison, the US has about 3.6 million births per year on a population of 350 million. Comparatively, that would be 288k births in Ukraine. The comparable Italian birth rate would be 168k births in Ukraine. And Italy has a low birth rate.

Remember, the Republicans are allowed to have a right wing but Democrats cannot have a left wing.
