One of my most exciting days in the French national archives was when I suddenly found German and Dutch language flyers in a folder full of material about the Moussems, a remarkable transeuropean festival series. In this blog, I discuss them as a "past alternative" of "immigrant Europeanization".

The last two texts of our special issue are online: the roundtable with personal reflections from Daniel McNeil, Idriss Jebari, and Karin Hermes about "Doing the Global Intellectual History of Social Movements" as well as the afterword by Angela Zimmerman that connects Lenin, Lennon, and feminisms.

I just saw my book on a bookshelf in a university library for the first time. It's in interesting company. For me, it makes a lot of sense that is next to Wolin's "The Wind from the East," which was probably the most cited monograph in my master thesis.
