"Your characters can die more easily than 5e" is a pretty important part of OSR design and play, but a lot of this stuff seems like it took one paragraph from the Funnels heading of DCC to flip into products that have none of the joy, personality or exuberant excess of DCC.

Lotta people have latched onto some idea of "OSR" from a decade ago and have blown it up into the most boring kind of product / marketing.
