Construction, construction everywhere. Walking around Indianapolis this GenCon is going to suuuuck.

I’m staying up all night because I’m a night owl and my flight to GenCon is at stupid o’clock in the morning.

I know the Bite of Seattle sounds like the sort of thing I'd be at, but it got expensive so I haven't been in some years. We were all at home when the shooting happened so we are safe. I will be at GenCon as always. Green Ronin is at booth #101 this year.

I saw Alloy in the early 90s so it was great to hear those songs. They closed with AoF classics “5 O’Clock” and “What We Want is Free.”

Great to see Vic Bondi and His Issues last night at Slim’s. They played all 5 songs off their EP, a new one called “Just Die Already” (yes, please), and then a selection of songs from some of Vic’s many bands (Alloy, Dead Ending, Redshift, and, of course, Articles of Faith).

This backyard show is right by the flight path to the airport. Every two minutes of the Chloroforms set another jet flew by. I’ve never been distracted by airplanes at a punk show before.
