I was not informed by the BBC that they would have a right wing political figure or lobbyist on after me to rebut what I said. The individual in question went on to spout lies about China, etc. to distract attention from the Trump administration's assault on climate action. This is unacceptable.

'but China's emissions are twice those of the USA' 'yes, but China has three times the population' 'but China's building 50 coal-fired power stations a year' etc., etc.

Is “pragmatic” the new, “grown up” word? Andy, there’s nothing “pragmatic” about drilling for more oil & gas - to even consider it with the planet literally on fire is total madness. 2 acres of wildlife garden with woodland, meadows etc., all very desiccated, but heavy rain on Sunday night gave me the opportunity on Tuesday to run the mower (on the highest setting) over the small area we laughingly refer to as the 'lawn'! Mainly to pick up dead leaves...
