Unfortunately I have a hard time seeing any MLB team turning it down. Majority of the players are huge evangelicals or conservative Catholics and the owners are the usual rightwing billionaires. And I HATE that. Also a symptom of diminished African American presence in the sport :-/.

Nick’s dedication to introducing us to horrifying Cryptids like the elf, the People of The Forest, the Men in the Tunnels, the Man in the Stairs, the Wet Man, and others is admirable.

I didn’t grow up with a southern accent, but much of my extended family did, so it’s really easy to slip into for me. Hell, I start slipping into it if characters on tv talk like that. The Righteous Gemstones especially!
