for the sake of argument i just spun up chatgpt and prompted it to go through usenet archives to see what people thought of nina williams from tekken back in the day. the response was that it couldn't do that and then it just made some shit up that i know was wrong anyway. why would i ever use this
there's so much fucking information and knowledge and literature and all that out there that isn't digitized or isn't widely disseminated and if your entire research process involves asking chatgpt to summarize the first page of google results for you then your work will be shit and uninteresting
