Two hours is too long on short game and completeted games should most definitely be unreturnable. But I was grateful for the window when it took me a half hour to realize I simply don't like roguelike, deck-builders. I returned Slay the Spire and haven't bought any more games with that mechanic.

I have a couple of both, but they were only throwing out the microscopes.

Not far from where I live there's a gravity battery. When power is cheap water is pumped from a river to a reservoir at the top of a mountain, then when the power is needed the water is released to turn turbines. The tech is older, but it still works like a charm.

I've got a couple of those from when my work was throwing them away.
