Very proud to have been blocked by that guy, before most people knew who he was, when I called him out on some obviously made up bullshit. Amazing so many people believed he was real for so long. Anyway, just off for a glass of rosé with the mayor while my supermodel wife bakes some croissants.

Valheim does this very well. Taking a raft out and it gets a bit blowy? Very bad times ahead. In the middle of building your house and it even starts raining? Uncomfortable night for you!

It's fine as long as you know how to drive one (and in the countryside generally)!

As if anyone outside London works that late. Ha.

Indeed - and a lot of tall hedges blocking view round our way so they get terrified at every corner.

There's a place that hires these to people near where I live... drivers have no idea how big they are and refuse to get into the side on lanes for fear of their deposits. Absolute menaces.

Agree. I don't have a Hilux, I do have a 12yo 4wd Golf. I really don't mind if it gets another hedge scratch, I'm not sure the people I meet coming the other way in their stupidly wide 100k+ wankpanzers feel the same way.

Same in Kent (where I live) or pretty much anywhere rural I've been.

A long time ago a man interviewed me there, obviously for YouTube. The next time I saw him, he was standing with Andy Burnham on a ladder. So it works out for some of them a bit.

That's a totally different claim to your original one.

The British in the 70s and 80s were. That's the point. It was spent, not invested like Norway, but it was spent as part of state spending as a whole, not kept for 'the establishment'. I wasn't around then - if you were, did you vote for a party wanting to cut spending and invest the oil revs?

100

That supports exactly what I said. What do you think 'current spending' is?

100

Eh? It has been. What the State has taken from North Sea oil revenues has been used to fund current spending, most of which goes to people on low incomes. Do you have some sort of conspiracy theory where it's funded the Royal Family or something?

120

And of course from Treasury cash. Right? Or does London still have to support the rest of the country, regardless?

I say this as someone whose favourite artist is Neil Hannon, who not only listens to the Divine Comedy, but also loves Duckworth Lewis AND who was actually in plays at uni... They're just so bloody drama school.

Oceans are now battlefields, it would seem.

Any good t-shirts there?
