I wanted to draw Charlotte in something other than a usual bikini… so this is technically a one piece #ClawShot

I love these bc I end up learning very specific facts! I don’t watch enough movies to do this but I can with BG drawings. “That door frame has no hinges and opens in the wrong direction” “those windows aren’t inset & water will seep thru” “the stair’s steps are too tall for standard building codes”
Kristi YamaguccimaneThis is the best film complaint I’ve ever seen
I grew up in a predominately Latin city (over 90%) so this kind of antagonizing anime/manga wasn’t actually a thing or more specifically, it got lumped in with other cartoons. Even then, stuff like DBZ/Yugioh wasn’t niche BUT the concept of fandom culture as it is now wasn’t a thing.
Zero UtopiaGenuinely impossible to make people understand how much most the United States in the 90s hated and looked down on anime if they didn't live through it.
Finished the rewatch and also the movie (the one time I defend isekai lmao), my take away is how it holds up so much better than I remembered and it hits DIFFERENT now like jfc. It’s cruel, it’s honest, and it isn’t glamorous. Explains a lot of my tendencies in my own writing oops
AymeRewatching FMA 2003 after well over a decade since last time and I’m realizing just how influential it was for me at 13yrs old, stuff like burying the lede and misdirections, plus the juxtaposition of silliness and graphic horror. Hot take: I **PERSONALLY** think it’s superior to the canon.
I’ll release a proper full Spanish version of the game (maybe not exactly at release but eventually, depends on how long it takes) and my parents will be helping me with it so it’ll be as authentically Cuban as possible :3
AymeIt’ll bother ppl if I include untranslated Spanish in my game that’ll require context clues (all dialogue stays in English) bc there were ppl who complained about that in the comic but I’ll tell them the same thing, engage with the 2nd most spoken language in the world even just casually 🫵
