Downside of my protagonists being m/f ships is ppl complaining why they’re all straight yet the only actual straight one is Charlotte, the rest are some flavor of queer. It’s bc I’m bi and I want to draw eye candy of both, I’m minmaxing. >:U

I grew up in a predominately Latin city (over 90%) so this kind of antagonizing anime/manga wasn’t actually a thing or more specifically, it got lumped in with other cartoons. Even then, stuff like DBZ/Yugioh wasn’t niche BUT the concept of fandom culture as it is now wasn’t a thing.

I get comments asking about Manny and if he’s in the game sometimes. He is, but it’s neat seeing he still has a dedicated fan club. The comments on Ch5 as it updated were funny for lots of reasons and a bunch was ppl debating who they should root for to win: Dan or Manny? >:3

Switching to Obsidian now for my writing app, it’s been a long time coming that I finally ditch Craft. Such a shame bc I started using it literally soon after it launched but in the years since it got enshittified, as all tech startups do. Now I’m suspicious of vibe coding caused bugs so rip 🫡

Rewatching FMA 2003 after well over a decade since last time and I’m realizing just how influential it was for me at 13yrs old, stuff like burying the lede and misdirections, plus the juxtaposition of silliness and graphic horror. Hot take: I **PERSONALLY** think it’s superior to the canon.

It’ll bother ppl if I include untranslated Spanish in my game that’ll require context clues (all dialogue stays in English) bc there were ppl who complained about that in the comic but I’ll tell them the same thing, engage with the 2nd most spoken language in the world even just casually 🫵
